This weekend I was in the mood for a moist and delicious banana bread. It is so easy to whip up, especially when you have very ripe banana's ready to go. Here is my delicious recipe. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
P.S. for more decadence drizzle melted dark chocolate over the top.
4 very ripe bananas, peeled
1/2 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup sugar
2 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), butter a 4x8-inch loaf pan
Simply mash the bananas in a separate bowl until smooth.
In a mixing bowl, stir the melted butter, eggs, and sugar.
Add Vanilla and bananas.
Mix in the baking soda and salt and flour.
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake 50 min. to 1 hr, or until a tester in center comes out clean.
Remove from oven, let cool in the pan a few minutes.
Remove banana bread from pan to serving dish.
Slice and serve.
