Glow Like A Pumpkin

October 29, 2018

Surprisingly pumpkin might be one of the greatest skin brighteners. This time of the year we just think pumpkin lattes and pumpkin pies but if eaten a little healthier, think soup it is so beneficial for the skin. It's been popping up in skincare and for good reason, with its Vitamin C collagen promoting properties and B Vitamins to oxygenate the skin.

Similar to other orange fruits and veggies, it contains carotenoids, which are pigments for vibrant skin. These antioxidant rich  gords, bring on the glowing skin, a healthy complexion, and reverse the signs of UV damage.

One of the simplest ways to add it to your diet is roasting it in the oven with a little salt, pepper, turmeric powder and olive oil. Look for one of the small Hokkaido pumpkins. About 30 minutes at 400 degrees F. As soon as fully cooked and roasted, serve hot.
