A Sparkly Event with Sarah Jessica Parker
I have been a long time fan of Sarah Jessica Parker's, probably even before Sex in the City. I think back to her movie “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.” I love that movie. So when the opportunity came up to go see her at an event she was hosting for her new wedding collection I was thrilled.
Gilt.com hosted an event with SJP for a special collaborating they did for her new line of bridal dresses. They held an amazing little event in the city at Serge Norman at John Frieda. As I in I was greeted with champagne and quickly spotted Sarah Jessica Parker on the step and repeat and cameras flashing.
She had on the most sparkly heels with grey jeans, a sparkly belt and simple black top. She just looks gorgeous, her hair was perfect, and no matter what she still reminded me of Carrie from Sex in the City. I walked up to the next level where the first room held all of her amazing SJP collection of dazzling, crystal embellished and glitter shoes. From hot pink and royal blue color to subtle creams. The shoes were on a table with little candles and flowers all over the place.
In the next room models were on pedestals wearing all of her pretty pieces in blush tones. She sat on a velvet green ottoman giving interviews while guest circulated the chandelier room. It was a perfectly curated event by Gilt that left me glowing. I also have been on a mad online search for SJP’s shoes of the night in my size.
