Google rounded up some of their top searches in beauty in fashion for 2024. Some of the trends wowed us. Not surprised by Laura Mercier's Real Flawless Foundation, since I personally use it and it comes up excellent on the Yuka app being super clean. According to Google, it saw a 550% rise in search interest from Oct. 2023 to Jan. 2024.
Lip oils are the new lipstick and the most anticipated beauty search for 2024. A few new soon-to-favs we found are Blossom Beauty and Versed Lip Oil.
Other trending makeup products include Tarte’s Tartelette Tubing Mascara, and Fenty Beauty icon velvet liquid lipstick was a breakout in 2023 and spiked 5000%.
Jenna Lyons was part of the Spring Fashion picks, including white t-shirts, classic button-downs, and sweater vests. The search for the staple button-down spanned all 50 states.
Mary Jane flats are a top-searched style of ballet flats between 2023 and 2024. An easy-to-wear shoe that looks stylish and brings all the comfort.
Layering pieces like the sweater vest and a classic trench have been spotted on celebs, per Google search for black leather trench has surged since October.
Finally, we didn't forget the guy, tech jackets search doubled between Oct. 2023 and Jan 2024 and Nike was the top searched sneaker brand over the last 3 months!
