A Morning with Stella James: Jewelry, Art, and a Little Caviar

There are moments in New York that feel like a scene, and this was one of them. I stepped into a private viewing for Stella James, set inside the founder’s Upper East Side apartment, perfectly positioned across from The Metropolitan Museum of Art. And somehow, the space felt just as curated as anything inside the museum.

The apartment itself was a work of art, chic, layered, and filled with unique pieces that made the entire experience feel intimate yet elevated. Guests moved through the living room, caviar in hand, discovering the collection displayed effortlessly among the décor. It didn’t feel like a presentation. It felt like stepping into someone’s world.

And that’s exactly what Stella James is about. A New York-based jewelry house rooted in legacy, emotion, and personal meaning, the pieces tell a story far beyond aesthetics. From carved diamond letters to delicate yet powerful silhouettes, each design feels like a quiet reminder of the people and moments we carry with us.
