Denise and I have been making homemade apple pie for years. It is a family tradition, and a delicious one at that. I decided to do a Live video stream making the pie from start to finish. Here on Facebook.

Recipe

Crust

1 1/4 Cups All- Purpose Flour plus a little more to roll top and bottom crusts out.

1/2 Tsp Salt

1/2 Tsp Sugar

1 Stick ( 1/2 cup) Cold Unsalted Butter, cut into pieces

2 Tbsp Ice Cold Water

Filling

7-10 depending on size Gala Apples

3/4 Cup of Sugar

Zest & Juice 1 Lemon

2 Tsp Cinnamon

2 Tsp Nutmeg

Pinch of Cloves

2 Tablespoons of Unsalted Butter

Combine ingredients and let sit until pie crust is rolled out and ready to fill. Then Fill and bake for 1 hour on 375F.
