I am slightly obsessed with the 90's inspired slip dresses. They are the easiest to wear in the summer, perfect for hot days and look styled instantly. They pair up with sneakers for a casual fun look and the dress up well with strappy heels. I was sticking to neutral colors until I spotted a silky hot pink dress I needed to have.
Whenever we are in Italy we indulge in the wonderful time before dinner call Aperitivo. Usually around 5 or 6pm for a few hours. It is a time to relax post-work over a glass of wine or Campari and some snacks. The tasty nibble ideas for are endless. The essentials are always crunchy bread, olives and cheese. When I get back home I try to carry on the tradition. It is the perfect reason to indulge in a cocktail too.
I am dreaming of putting on a super high pair of sparkly heels and going out. While things are starting to get back to "normal" I went on a search for pairs that I need to add to my closet. The second I can step out the door and go out at night one of these will be styled up. Which pair are your favorite?
I made this simple but delicious lemon ricotta cake because I had ricotta that I didn't want to go to waste. It is so delicate and light but bursting with lemony flavor. It looks extravagant to bring out as a Summer dessert when you add berries and mint leaves. Recipe
Sometime clothing just needs a few adjustments to make it perfect. I had this cute dress sitting in my closet that I only wore once. I decided to take some scissors to it and create a look I would love. I have been doing this since I was in high school to my clothing. I have made plenty of mistakes but if you don't try you will never know. I say if you have something in mind go for it.
