How To Get Long Blonde Hair For Summer

We keep seeing so many girls with long beautiful locks and can't help but want some too. We had a chance to chat with Celebrity stylist Cindy Lopez about how she gave Billboard and AMP Radio host Chelsea Briggs longer hair in shades of blonde. Cindy gave us all the tips we need to get this mermaid like Summer hair.

Here is what she told us.

Chelsea’s hair was tricky, she came in with a lot of brunette and brassy tones. She did have highlights but overall I knew she needed some added dimension. I did baby lights on her using a stronger lightener on her roots and then a lower volume with Olaplex on her ends. This helped brighten her up, but while still remaining cautious of the integrity of the hair. Together, we picked out three colors for her hair extensions to create dimension and length and achieve the final blended color that she was looking for. Using multiple colors of extensions also helped create a more natural look, as it helps disguise where her actual hair ends and blends more seamlessly. Once the extensions were in, we cut some layers and framed her face, then I curled it with a 1.5” barrel and switching to 1” - leaving the ends out which makes for a beach-y wave.
