Campari Go Bitter, Go Sweet with Kate Hudson

I have seen a bottle of Campari on our dinning room table after dinner parties since I was little. It has always been my father's liquor of choice after a meal. His favorite aperitif. When I was invited to the launch of Campari's bittersweet campaign with Kate Hudson I felt a sweet connection to the brand. Held at The Standard hotel in the meat packing district in NYC. We were greeted with espresso of course and biscotti. Retro tunes like "Good Morning" played as we enter the rich red room with clear designeresque seating and a red carpet. An cozy media crowd of about 100 special guest mostly Italiano were in attendance and patiently waited for Kate. Cat Greenleaf hosted the press confernece first introducing Gruppo Campari CEO Bob Kunze-Concewitz and photographer Michaelangelo DiBattista.

They explained in detail the concept of the Campari "Go Bitter, Go Sweet Bittersweet Campaign" Calender for 2016. Only 9,999 of these stunningly calendars are produced each year. None of which are sold but given as gifts to friends. Kate Hudson is the star of the 2016 Campari Bittersweet Campaign Calendar. She is featured and a candidate "running for president." Rather than choosing between Democrat or Republican voters are asked to "Go Bitter or Go Sweet" based on the delicious Campari drinks.

Kate looked absolutely stunning when she arrived to answer questions. Wearing a red pant suit and the most amazing ruby red suede Christian Louboutin heels. You can peep them on my instagram. After the intimate press conference we sipped the vibrant red aperitif and passed procuitto and mozzerella mini panini's.

If you caught my snapchat's I had the Campari Orange and texted my father to say, "we have to mix these up on the next holiday."
