NYFW {Cindy Monteiro}
Using stunning natural materials like shells and beads designer Cindy Monteiro took us on a mini island vacation. This was amazingly her very first New York Fashion Week and first visit ever to the United States. Models walked barefoot while tropical beats played. Linen and raffia were used for the body-hugging pieces.
The collection, named Bernadina is full of hand painted work done by Monteiro herself and made of natural materials like cotton line, jute line and embellished with shells and sugar cane. Although new to NYFW she has shown at Paris fashion week.
