Education and practical hands on knowledge is essential to succeeded in any industry. It is not always easy to find someone who will create a space to mold young talent with a budding career, especially in the competitive world of hair dressing. Anthony Garubo, with 40 years in the industry as a stylist, salon owner, product developer and now educator has set up an academy to do just that, and it is brilliant.
With an ever-evolving passion for the business, he is excited to announce the debut of his latest project, the Advanced Hair Academy, with an exclusive launch event on Monday, October 23, 2017, at Anthony Garubo Salon.
The Advanced Hair Academy curriculum is based on Garubo's own educational program. Rather than poaching talent; Anthony Garubo grows talent. From its inception, the salon has chosen to invest in and develop its staff from the ground up through ongoing training and mentoring-from new apprentices to stylists on the floor earning well over six figures.
"I am committed to bringing young, talented, passionate students into the fold and molding them into confident and professional stylists that not only thoroughly know their craft, but also know ultimately they are selling themselves and a relationship with their clients," Garubo says.
