How to Get Good Sleep

Sleep is so essential for rejuvenating your body and feeling good. During this time it may be a bit harder to get that deep rested sleep. There are some general things you may have heard before like, turn off all the lights, put your phone in another room, and try meditating. These are all really great solutions but if you still feel restless and want a good night sleep I found a few other useful ways to get restorative sleep.

1. CHILL OUT... LITERALLY, Meet Ebb: a wearable, sleep device that targets racing mind to relieve sleeplessness. It is a fluid filled headband that cools the forehead to help calm the mind and fall asleep naturally. Scientifically it reduces the metabolic activity in the frontal cortex of the brain. The device is created by renowned sleep researcher Dr. Eric Nofzinger, to stop the "racing mind."

2. SUPPLEMENTzzZz with HUM Beauty zzZz it has Melatonin & B6 helps promotes a naturally restful night of sleep by reducing the time it takes to fall asleep and working to adjust your internal clock.

3 . A LITTLE THE WHITE NOISE, works by reducing the difference between background sounds and a "peak" sound, like a door slamming, giving you a better chance to sleep through it undisturbed. If you have difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, creating a constant ambient sound can help mask activity from inside and outside the house. The Dohm features a signature fan-based natural white noise with two speed options for adjustable tone and volume.

4. A GOOD BOOK THAT'LL PUT YOU TO SLEEP, Why We Sleep book, by preeminent neuroscientist and sleep expert Matthew Walker provides a revolutionary exploration of sleep, examining how it affects every aspect of our physical and mental well-being. Walker explains how we can harness sleep to improve learning, mood, and energy levels, regulate hormones, prevent cancer, Alzheimer’s and diabetes, slow the effects of aging, and increase longevity. He also provides actionable steps towards getting a better night’s sleep every night.
